Rosie has lived in the West Exe area for almost 30 years and runs an organic farm and forestry business near Tiverton with her partner.

Rosie has been working tirelessly with the other members of the housing focus group to put together the Neighbourhood Plan for Tiverton which is now out for consultation.

"We're really keen to see any new development stepping up to the zero carbon commitment that the council has pledged, as well as tackling fuel poverty and the lack of 'affordable' housing in real terms. We would love to see less of a reliance on car travel and more provision made to encourage safe cycling and pedestrian access".

Rosie is also passionate about the environment we live in and is one of the founding members of the Tiverton Tree Team, promoting community engagement to plant 4500 trees in the Tiverton area last winter; "it was the unanimous wish of the community to plant trees to tackle climate change and enhance biodiversity, and it has been lovely to help facilitate this and see the rewards".
